Cristian Bergagna presents his new release "Macabre".
This new album comes with a turn after "The Nightmare". Scary sounds are highlighted with his strong Techno background, focused in generating a tense atmosphere with a small amount of nostalgia and creepy feelings. The characteristic melodies and arpeggiated sounds of his style are not forgotten in this piece. The distortion comes with more power and with a set of acoustic drums, present in almost each track are the start of a new era in Cristian Bergagna sound.
This release comes with a modern touch, but also having that nostalgic 80s feeling. Opening to different gendres of the horror cinema.

The album starts with "The Beginning" as a small piece of what is coming after. The tense sounds of high noted keys and the distinguished brilliance of an acoustic kit drum presents the start of a new moment in Cristian Bergagna career, constructing a scene that comes with momentum after a nostalgic melody that prepares the listener for the distortion and heavy scary sounds.

"Angela's Abys" starts with a moment of creepy sadness, telling a probably sad and Macabre story about the live of Angela. Arpeggiated sounds are having a strong presence in this album and remembering those 80's songs but with a horror twist. Cristian Bergagna did not forget his heavy metal influence with a strong distorted riff with a bass that demonstrates the anxiety in the composition.

A mix of techno and heavy metal backgrounds comes with "From inside the Bones". As a violent presentation of what Cristian Bergagna is capable of. High notes punching like knifes in the ear start the rising until the chorus that the listener can keep singing in the head as a new disturbed host in the mind. A new way of presenting a groovy riff is something new in Cristian Bergagna compositions, with the intentions of not letting the listened forget that this can also be danced.

After a high dosis of violence and groove, comes the track that names the album: "Macabre". With a strong bass traveling across the listener head with a compressed kit drums that introduce the violent start of the distortion and principal melody, giving after that, to the listener, a false moment of peace. That peace a victim suffer before dead. With a strong chorus and nostalgic melody, Cristian Bergagna manages to mix different sensations in a few seconds, making that turn to violent right after that.

"Paradox" starts with a dramatic arpeggiated melody that promises a more quiet travel (but remember this is Horrorsynth). Cristian Bergagna tries to mix new and classic 80s sounds in the same composition. Using his knowledge about electronic music, he manages to give to the listener a bass line that can make the leg move. In this piece, the listener can notice a blink to "The Nightmare".

"Love Bites in Fright Night" is the 2018 released single with the distinguished voice of Edward Harvey. They worked together in this "vampiresque" song and it has also a video of them recording it. Arpeggiated melodies sounds in the background of the incredible Edward's voice. The listener can live a vampire love song, completed with a violent chorus and a keyboard solo that sounds like a Church is burning down.

“Seize the Apocalypse” is a modern piece that comes with a strong bass line that marks the rhythm of a horror inspired techno sound. The snare starts violently announcing a quiet start with traveling sounds across the speakers. At the moment the distortion begins the body of the listener should start dancing like being possessed by some daemon. The melodies punch the ear like nails. Cristian Bergagna controls everything with this one.

The beginning of “Isolation” sounds slightly different to the other tracks, because is the moment of violent and more “electro” sounds. The structure of the track is a classic dark synth. Full of high frequencies and a fast arpeggiate distracts the listener from all that horror, but not for long. Synths from the background remembers that sensation. This one elevates the rhythm of the heart bringing some anxiety to the album. Again, Cristian Bergagna is in control. He owns you.

The end of the travel comes with “Melancholic Death”. The title says everything. The most “horror” inspired song starts with a big fat bass and a classic 80s horror melody with strings preparing the scene in the background. The movement that comes with the key notes remembers to a devil possession ambient. Like death, this is the end. The listener will feel that something terrible is gonna happens soon. Something dark is coming from behind, the presence is close by the second. Death will make you suffer until the last second, until the last breath. The Hi hat sounds like a clock, counting to 0, to the last seconds of your life, when angels start to sing for you in chorus. You will remember your entire life, with a melancholic death, that ends abruptly.
